Join Aurora Borealis Glassworks for an unforgettable experience and learn the art of stained glass. Our Introduction to Stained Glass class allows you to create your own unique stained glass masterpiece using the Louis Comfort Tiffany method. You will learn the basics of glass cutting, grinding, copper foiling, soldering, and finishing techniques, all while experiencing the hands-on excitement of working with glass. You will choose from a variety of patterns, and with the help of our expert instructor you will bring your vision to life and create a beautiful work of art to take home with you. A minimum of 2 students and a maximum of 4 students keep this class intimate and fun! About the instructor: Christele Merrick Baird is a leading stained glass artist based in Albuquerque, NM. For over 35 years, she has created stained glass for spaces anywhere from creative remodels to multi-million dollar residences.
